| Rams Interview 49ers Director Of Player Personnel Tom Gamble | | |
The St. Louis Rams have interviewed San Francisco 49ers Director of Player Personnel Tom Gamble for their general manager position, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Gamble has been with the 49ers for the last seven seasons, beginning as the Director of Pro Personnel before he was promoted to his current position last February. Before working for the 49ers, Gamble was a college scout for the Indianapolis Colts, a scout for the Baltimore Ravens, defensive assistant/quality control coach for the New York Jets and spent seven seasons in the Philadelphia Eagles' front office, including two seasons where Rams head coach Jeff Fisher was defensive coordinator.
