Saints Hire Former Rams DC Ken Flajole To Coach Defensive Backs

The New Orleans Saints have hired Ken Flajole to be their defensive backs coach, James Varney of The Times-Picayune reports. Flajole replaces Dennis Allen, who is now the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. The 58-year-old Flajole coached defensive backs with the Seattle Seahawks in 1999 and from 2001-02. Flajole has also coached linebackers (Seahawks, 2000) and Carolina Panthers (2003-08) and was the St. Louis Rams defensive coordinator the last three seasons. Flajole follows former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo to New Orleans.
