| Brandon Jacobs Thinks He'll Be Back With Giants | | |
Giants running back Brandon Jacobs reversed field on Wednesday and indicated he could see himself returning to New York for an eighth season with the Giants according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. He’s under contract through 2012, but he’d almost certainly have to agree to a new contract before he’s due a $500,000 roster bonus in March to avoid getting cut. Now, the 29-year-old Jacobs thinks that’s “a possibility.” In fact, his gut is telling him that Super Bowl XLVI won’t be his Giants finale. “I honestly don’t think that’s the case,” Jacobs said. “I think something’s going to get worked out.”
