| Colts Officially Announce Bruce Arians As Offensive Coordinator | | | The Indianapolis Colts have officially announced the hiring of Bruce Arians as offensive coordinator. This is the second stint with the Colts for Arians, who coached the team's quarterbacks from 19980-2000. The 59-year-old has spent the last five seasons as the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator, and while his contract with the team was allowed to expire earlier this month, Arians said he was given no choice but the leave the team. Before he was named offensive coordinator by head coach Mike Tomlin in 2007, Arians spent three seasons as the Steelers receivers coach. Arians was the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator from 2001-03 and was a position coach with the New Orleans Saints (1996, tight ends) and Kansas City Chiefs (1989-92, running backs).
