"Yeah, I thought a lot about it," Del Rio said according to The Associated Press. "I had a lot of advice from my friends who are professionals out there...But I love to compete." Fired by the Jaguars during the 2011 season, Del Rio is owed $5 million from that organization. Del Rio's salary with the Broncos was not disclosed, but that amount will be deducted from the amount the Jaguars will pay him in 2012. In addition to the money, Del Rio was also given some time to recharge his coaching batteries. "I certainly had some time to sit back and reflect, and I’m very appreciative of the time I had down there, nine wonderful years competing, a great place to raise a family," Del Rio said. "And so, there was time to kind of reflect on that, kind of decompress a little bit, kind of unwind. I did some of that. And I find myself right now rejuvenated." Source: Mac's Football Blog
