Bills Shifting To A 4-3 Defense In 2012

One of the Bills biggest offseason questions has been answered: The defense is moving back to a 4-3. In announcing new additions to the coaching staff, Bills coach Chan Gailey also said the defense is moving to a four man front in 2012 which isn’t a huge surprise. Because of injuries and personnel, the Bills have been playing with a four-man front since the Week 8 victory over the Washington Redskins. The Bills fired defensive coordinator George Edwards and replaced him with Dave Wannstedt, who has employed the 4-3 scheme since his days as a DC under Jimmy Johnson at Miami (Fla.). "We're going to start in a four-man front,'' Gailey said. "When we hand you a lineup card it's going to have two defensive tackles, two defensive ends and three linebackers."

The bills always seemed to be in a 4-man front this past season; I don't remember ever seeing them use a traditional 3-4 front.

Marcell Dareus and Kyle Williams should be a pretty good DT tandem.

this guarantees a DE in one of the first 2 rounds....dareus and williams are going to dominate, they are 1 end away from a real distruptive front 4

dont love coples in a 43, but he did work at the senior bowl
