Steelers Interview Jim Caldwell For Offensive Coordinator

Saturday the Indianpolis Colts hired former Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and on sometime over the weekend, NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports, the Steelers interviewed former Colts head coach Jim Caldwell. It would be an odd scenario if the two organizations ended up swapping coaches, but they may end up being what happens. The Steelers are interested in Caldwell, among other candidates, for the offensive coordinator position. The Colts fired Caldwell, along with many other staff members, after a two-win season. The Colts are scheduled to have the first overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

I've heard in several places that it wasn't necessarily for the OC position. Tomlin likes talking to coaches he works with and Caldwell could be in line for several different positions...who knows...

That was my thought for the Steelers as well. Wanted no part of him as an OC.
