| Cardinals Deny Buccaneers Permission To Speak To Receivers Coach John McNulty | | | The Arizona Cardinals have denied a request by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to interview receivers John McNulty for the team's offensive coordinator vacancy, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports. McNulty has been with the Cardinals for the last three seasons, returning to the NFL after coaching with newly-hired Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano at Rutgers University. McNulty coached receivers at Rutgers before he was promoted to assistant offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach and assuming play-calling duties. With McNulty calling plays, the Scarlet Knights set school records for total offense and produced NFL players such as running back Ray Rice, wide receivers Kenny Britt and Tiquan Underwood and quarterback Mike Teel. Prior to working at Rutgers, McNulty spent five seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and one season with the Dallas Cowboys. Source: Mac's Football Blog
