The Browns ranked second in the NFL in pass defense and were sixth in passing yards allowed per play in 2011, but only got seven interceptions from the secondary and none from 2010 first-round pick Joe Haden, who had a team-high 19 passes defensed. A former NFL safety, Hauck began his coaching career at the University of Montana, his alma matter, before coaching at UCLA in 2008. Hauck was an assistant defensive backs coach for the Tennessee Titans in 2009-10, but was not retained by first-year head coach Mike Munchak. Source: Mac's Football Blog
