Williams, 42, began his NFL coaching career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, working with Monte Kiffin and Mike Tomlin as his work focused on the defensive backs. Williams joined the Colts staff in 2002, where he coached with Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier from 2005-06, and was the Colts defensive backs prior to joining the Vikings. Williams replaces Fred Pagac, who will remain on staff as the team's linebackers coach along with Mike Singletary. The 36-year-old Daly was a defensive assistant/defensive line coach with the Vikings from 2006-08 before coaching the St. Louis Rams defensive line the last three seasons, Daly replaces Karl Dunbar, who was quietly let go after the regular season.
