Eagles Try Out Free Agent QB Trent Edwards

The Philadelphia Eagles tried out former Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Trent Edwards, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. He wasn't immediately signed to a contract. Edwards was with the Oakland Raiders during the preseason before being released and was with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. He auditioned for the Miami Dolphins during the regular season. The former Stanford quarterback started for the Bills before being replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick, passing for 6,019 career yards, 26 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
