| Ravens Hang On To Defeat Texans 20-13, Advance To AFC Championship Game | | | The Baltimore Ravens jumped out to a 17-3 first quarter lead and were able to hold off the Houston Texans for the final 45 minutes for a 20-13 win to advance to next week's 2011 AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots. Baltimore took advantage of a pair of Texans turnovers in the first quarter, turning a muffed punt by Jacoby Jones and a Lardarius Webb interception of rookie quarterback T.J. Yates into a pair of touchdowns to take a 14-point lead over the AFC South champions. The Texans cut the lead to four points at the half, but the offense sputtered in the second half. Houston's final possession of the game ended with safety Ed Reed breaking up a Hail Mary pass with 11 seconds remaining. Source: Mac's Football Blog
