| Falcons Request Permission To Interview Tom Clements, Dirk Koetter | | |
The Atlanta Falcons have requested permission to speak to Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements and former Jaguars offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter about their vacant offensive coordinator position, league sources said Saturday. The Falcons are conducting the search after former offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey was hired as Jacksonville's head coach earlier this week. Koetter has served as the Jaguars coordinator since 2007. Clements has been in his position with Green Bay since 2006. In addition to Koetter and Clements, the Falcons have interest in former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick and former Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.
