Baylor University quarterback Robert Griffin III has informed had coach Art Briles that he will not return for his senior season and will enter the 2012 NFL Draft, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. The 2011 Heisman Trophy winner is in the process of selecting an agent, Mortensen adds. Griffin passed for 4,293 yards with 37 touchdowns and just six interceptions in 2011, adding 699 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. During his 41-game career at Baylor, Griffin passed for 10,366 yards with 78 touchdowns and ran for 2,254 yards with 33 touchdowns. Griffin is projected to be the second quarterback chosen in April's draft, rated behind only Stanford's Andrew Luck, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. Griffin will likely hear his name called among the first five selections in April.

RG3 is the real deal should be a top 5 pick.

I wouldnt be shocked if St. Louis ax's Bradford. New staff may want to bring in "their guy"

With Bradford's contract, going to be tough to move/release him. Could def see a team trying to trade up to get him.

This is true, and I think its only a VERY remote possibility. New coaching staffs have done stranger things however (see McDaniels and Cutler, and pretty much his entire stint)

Bradford had no receivers to throw to that is why his numbers were so bad. I expect the rams to keep Bradford and draft Blackmon from OK. state.

I see him being one of the first few QBs taken in this draft

bradford also cant throw more than 10 yards downfield.

i could see the browns trading for bradford actually and moving way down in the draft again....shurmur connection and an offensive scheme bradford can play in

i love RG3, its tough to place what kind of player he'll be and how soon though....if he goes to the browns chances are his career is over before it starts, its just how it goes

I'm always skeptical of these "dual threat" guys. It doesn't work in the pros like it does in college, or Mike Vick would be the best QB ever. But I thought Cam Newton would bust so maybe Griffen will be able to do it too. I'm definitely excited to see it. I like him better than Newton.
