IMO, Spencer is too inconsistent. He's OK, but not great.

The Dallas Morning News ran a poll asking its readers to give Cowboys players a grade for the 2011 season. The majority gave Spencer a C. That's about right.

If Spencer walks, they'll plug in Victor Butler to take his place, I'm thinking.

Victor butler will b good in rushing situations but will not be a coverage lb and will get eaten up in the run game

I like Spencer. I think everyone has treated him unfairly, as if he is suppose to be as good as DWare. Which quite frankly .. isnt the case. As long as we don't spend a fortune on him, I'd be content in resigning him. But if we do let him walk, I like Victor Butler.
