| Lions LB Justin Durant Lobbying Stephen Tulloch To Remain In Detroit | | | Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch didn't speak to reporters Monday, but one of teammates didn't hesitate to offer his thoughts on the player's value. Fellow linebacker Justin Durant said he'll do whatever he can to convince Tulloch, a soon-to-be free agent, to stay in Detroit and help build a dynasty. "Most definitely," said Durant, when asked if he'll try to convince Tulloch to stay. "We just developed our chemistry throughout the year. He's been a great player, man. It's been a pleasure playing with him. Hopefully he'll be back with us." Tulloch, a former Tennessee Titan, signed a one-year contract with the Lions last summer and will be a free agent March 13. Several reports indicate up to 25 percent of the NFL's players could be free agents by that date, creating what should be a buyer's market for teams. Source: Detroit News
