| Titans Assistant Charles London Accepts Position At Penn State | | | After serving as quality control coach for the Titans last season, Charles London knows all about doing the dirty work. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes breaking down film of upcoming opponents, always on call to provide information to any member of the offensive coaching staff. Now, London is prepared to do his part to clean up the mess at Penn State. When Bill O’Brien was named Penn State’s new head coach on Saturday, London officially joined his staff as running backs coach. He’s set to leave for State College, Pa., on Tuesday. “Our mind-set is we know there will be challenges, but a lot of the guys that were there had nothing to do with the scandal and it is a shame the university has been tarnished in that way,’’ London said Saturday. “But we are going to do our best to try and restore the name of Penn State football. I really had no reservations in going. I believe in Coach O’Brien, and that made it easy for me.” Source: The Tennessean
