yep, the chiefs began selling this idea to the fans in kansas city shortly after firing haley and it was received well by the general public. pioli is comfortable with it because crennel knows 'the patriot way'. clark hunt is comfortable with it because he doesn't have to pay crennel as much as most head coaches. and the players like it because crennel is easy on players.
everybody is 'comfortable' with it, which isn't always the best thing. i don't like promotions from within in any situation and everyone who is comfortable right now will not be comfortable in a few years when they continue to hover around .500. |
