Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator George Edwards has been relieved of his duties, head coach Chan Gailey announced on Monday. Assistant head coach/inside linebackers coach Dave Wannstedt will replace Edwards. Wannstedt brings a lot of experience to the coordinator position, handling those duties with the Dallas Cowboys (1989-91) and Miami Dolphins (1999) before head coaching opportunities with the Chicago Bears (1993-98) and Dolphins (2000-03). Wannstedt also served as the University of Miami's defensive coordinator from 1986-88.
