| Browns RB Peyton Hillis Returning To Cleveland Very Much In The Air | | | Browns running back Peyton Hills, who was so adored by fans following last year's breakout season, could be playing somewhere other than Cleveland next year. "I don't know," Hillis said after Sunday's 13-9 loss to the Steelers. "We will see in the offseason what happens. It is a long process. It may be a few months for the organization to recalculate things and see what they want. Right now, I am just holding and waiting." Hillis has been clamoring for a long-term deal after rushing for 1,117 yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 61 catches and two more touchdowns in 2010. However, after a season in which a hamstring injury kept him out of five games and a case of strep throat kept him out of another, the one-time franchise back may not be welcomed back. Against the Steelers, Hillis was handed the ball only a handful of times in a game that seemed to fit his punishing running style. Cleveland coach Pat Shurmur has been noncommittal when asked if he expects Hillis back next year. "What I do fits for anybody," Hillis said. "I feel like I am a decent player who is well-rounded and can fit in a lot of situations." Source: Pittsburgh Tribune Review
