Packers FS Nick Collins Says There Is No Limitations In Knee

Packers free safety Nick Collins hurt his knee at Chicago and yet returned to that game. He played the next week against Detroit and has hobbled through this week heading into the Washington game. He said Friday after a full day of practice that he wasn't bothered by pain or swelling, but it was clear he was fighting through it. "There's not limitations. It's just weak. Very weak," said Collins. "Just something I have to deal with." Green Bay needs Collins to play, perhaps even if he is in less than top form. Green Bay's linebacker situation is already in flux after injuries, and the Packers lost starting safety Morgan Burnett for the year with a damaged anterior cruciate ligament. "He's fighting through. Nick is a warrior," safeties coach Darren Perry said. "He understands the situation. He's been doing what we ask of him all along. Truth be told, we have a lot of guys dealing with injuries and Nick is no different."
