After seeing just four plays of action in his first four games with the 49ers, running back Brian Westbrook might see an increase in playing time just as his former team comes to town. Westbrook is likely to see an increase in playing time, as the 49ers search for personnel groups that give them matchup advantages. Westbrook played his first eight NFL seasons with the Eagles. He signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the 49ers in mid-August after running back Glen Coffee announced his retirement.
