| Texans WR Andre Johnson Likely A Game-Time Decision Vs. Raiders | | | Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson suffered an ankle sprain in the Week 2 game against the Redskins and few details were given about the injury other than his "questionable" listing on the injury report. He was tackled in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys and re-aggravated the injury, staying on the ground in obvious pain while the trainers tended to him. Johnson, who had four receptions for 64 yards up that point, reentered the game after having the ankle taped but did not make another catch. In postgame interviews, Johnson revealed that he had the dreaded high ankle sprain: "Ankle-wise, I re-aggravated the high ankle sprain that I had and we're going to do the same thing we did last week as far as treatment and see what happens ... I'm not worried about my ankle. The only reason is I felt pain when I got tackled today. That's the only reason I came off the field. I went over to the sideline, the doctor checked it out and told me I hadn't done anything worse to it, but I'm going to feel pain every time I get hit on it if I continue to play. "You just have to come out for a few plays til it goes away and then go back out there, so that's what I'm going to continue to do until it gets better." Johnson is likely going to be a game-time decision on Sunday, and don't expect many clear signs from the Texans as to whether or not he is playing. Source: NFL Fanhouse | | |
