| Cardinals RB Beanie Wells Tweaked His Injured Knee Vs Raiders | | | Cardinals RB Beanie Wells rushed for 75 yards on 14 carries in Week 3 against the Raiders, but twisted his right knee during the contest. Wells had arthroscopic surgery on the same knee three weeks ago to remove loose cartilage and repair a torn meniscus. He was able to finish the game and averaged 5.4 yards a carry. Wells looked good on Sunday, and even hurdled a couple of defenders. "I didn’t want them getting at my (injured) knee so I had to go over them, " Wells said. The team will now have to monitor his status over the next week to see if he will be able to play in Week 4 against the Chargers. Source: CBS Sports | | |
