Redskins RB Larry Johnson In Danger Of Losing No. 2 Job

According to Paul Tenorio of the Washington Post, Redskins running back Larry Johnson was benched after he was tackled for a 10-yard loss in the Redskins' overtime loss to the Houston Texans. At the time Washington was desperate to put together a much-needed drive to slow down the Texans' momentum and Johnson's 10-yard loss essential killed any chance for the Redskins to take time off the clock. None of the Redskins' running backs were able to to get anything going in the running game despite Clinton Portis' two touchdowns. After Johnson, who ended up with -7 yards, was pulled from the game coach Shanahan inserted undrafted rookie Keiland Williams. It looks like Johnson is in danger of losing the No.2 job behind starter Portis.
