Giants RB Brandon Jacobs Now Won't Discuss His Demotion

When reporters asked Giants RB Brandon Jacobs about his fall to backup behind Ahmad Bradshaw, he simply stared into space and waited for another question. It was obvious he's not happy, a fact borne out when someone else tried to go at the question from a different angle. "You think I'm stupid, don't you," Jacobs said before he brusquely walked away. Jacobs has not commented publicly since last Thursday, when he complained to ESPN about his reduced role in the preseason. He and head coach Tom Coughlin had a meeting the next day, before Coughlin told reporters he was "surprised" by Jacobs' statements.
