Dolphins Release DE Lionel Dotson

The Miami Dolphins have placed defensive lineman Lionel Dotson on waivers today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. Dotson is expected to garner serious interest from other teams. He's expected to be in demand because of his age and position. A former 2008 seventh-round draft pick, Dotson is practice squad eligible. Dotson, 25, was a second-team All-Pac 10 selection at the University of Arizona as a senior.
