Giants OG Shawn Andrews Nearing A Starting Job?

Peter King of Sports Illustrated writes via twitter that he suggests that offensive guard Shawn Andrews could be "headed for a starting job" with the Giants. "What a quick, stunning comeback if so," King added. While it may not happen in Week 1, it's bound to if Andrews plays like he did in New York's preseason finale. Andrews looked like the best lineman on the field against the Patriots, mauling the New England "twos" and showing impressive footwork. He'll be pushing for Rich Seubert's job at left guard early in the season.

A hell of a lot sooner than I thought, but if Andrews keeps this up.....there's no reason not to give him the gig.

I hope he's starting by Nov. 21st. Philly fans will push his "depression" to suicidality and our trainers will teach our DTs just how to bend him till he breaks again

It was Philly that had him depressed. We got him doing the Jersey fist pump!

I'm sure it was very sad for him that Philly supported him and paid him millions two years longer then they should have while he sat on the sideline, whined, and made stupid youtube videos.
