Chiefs FS Jarrad Page Signs His Tender, Still Seeking A Trade

Kansas City Chiefs holdout free safety Jarrad Page signed his restricted free-agent tender Friday, and it was delivered to the team, according to a league source. Page hasn't decided when he will report to the team, but his arrival likely won't come before next week, the source said. Although the contract has been signed, Page is still requesting a trade, something he has asked for on several occasions, according to the source. The Chiefs can begin fining Page for missed days now that he is under contract. Page played in just five games last season after a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve.

He kind of put the screws to the Chiefs here. He doesn't lose any money and he forces the Chiefs to cut him or cut someone else to reach the 53 man roster.

Apparently they received a 2 game roster exemption from the NFL, so they have a little extra time to deal him. Not sure how they'll play this. If they trade him it's essentially giving him what he wants.

i hope Pioli sticks 2 his guns here and keeps him and makes him lose money. every1 says trade him and let lose of him. i say im tired of these young players demanding a trade and getting their way. i feel if given into them they have too much power given 2 them. make him sit on the pine Pioli!
