The New Orleans Saints have released veteran backup quarterback Patrick Ramsey, according to his agent Jimmy Sexton. That means second-year Chase Daniel has won the backup job. Coach Sean Payton declined to confirm any roster decisions when he met with the media this afternoon but said he has informed most of the players involved but that the team won't likely release the information until later this afternoon.
