Steelers QB Byron Leftwich Has MCL Sprain

Updating a previous story, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Steelers quarterback Byron Leftwich has an MCL sprain, contradicting the report from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that the MCL was torn. Nevertheless, it is unlikely Leftwich will heal in time to start for the Steelers before Big Ben's four-game suspension ends. ESPN says Leftwich will at least miss the season opener.
