Colts QB Curtis Painter will remain the No. 2 quarterback despite a shaky performance against the 49ers. "It's still the same. There is no change," said coach Jim Caldwell. "We believe in him. He's going to develop and grow. It takes a little time." Painter went 9 for 19 for 64 yards and three interceptions in Sunday's preseason game. Painter is trying to hold off Tom Brandstater for the No. 2 QB job for the Colts behind starter Peyton Manning.
