He hardly missed any of last years training camp, I don't know if he missed anything after he signed his contract. The "virus" that he had kept him out of the rookie symposium, thats it. | well, it's obvious that you are biased with this guy and are defending him because you consider him a friend.
However, facts are facts. he missed part of the vikes rookie camp last year due to a weird virus. He did not participate in the symposium due to another weird virus. He missed the first few practices at last year's training camp. He is missing a ton of practices at the beginning of this season. And he missed multiple practices and a game (?) last season due to the migraines. The missed practices are beginning to mount for various reasons (NOT just migraines).
And, YES, I DO understand migraines. My wife and I have both had them at different times in our lives. However, MIGRAINES ARE TREATABLE and, most likely, he HAS medication and his doctors have instructed him on lifestyle/diet choices that will help keep them at bay and it's possible the migraines become debilatating for him when he is not doing what he is supposed to be doing.
And, even in the off-chance that Harvin is one of the rare cases that nothing can be done for his migraines, then it just adds to the list of things that indicate that the guy is one of the most mentally/physically weak, sickly players the league has ever seen with all of these viruses, illnesses, headaches, and extended grieving periods ................................. you can defend him all you want because you feel like you're part of his family but the dude is EITHER a weak, sickly human being OR he doesn't like to practice. You have to pick one because at this point those are your only 2 choices. |
