| Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett Unlikely To Play Vs Bengals | | | Tight end Martellus Bennett worked with the first-team offense during the Dallas Cowboys' limited morning practice on Friday at the Alamodome, but he is unlikely to play in Sunday's Hall of Fame exhibition game against Cincinnati at Canton, Ohio. Bennett missed the first nine practices because of a sprained ankle incurred during an unsupervised workout before camp opened. He participated in the next 12 practices but has had problems moving since his return. By practicing, Bennett has been unable to give the ankle more time for healing. He likely will get the break this weekend. Coach Wade Phillips said "I'm still thinking about holding him out, but he wants to play.'' Source: Dallas Morning News | | |
