I'd take Matt Stafford everyday over Sam Bradford. Given that, fuck 50-60 mil guaranteed. Give him like 25 million and if he can get the Rams to the playoffs, give him the rest. GROSSLY overrated QB getting a GROSSLY overpaid amount of money.

Bradford, with the exception of JaMarcus Russell, is the luckiest fucker in the history of the NFL.

Gets injured, gets re-injured, Locker stays at U of Washington for another year (who would have gone before this dude, almost guaranteed), gets in the draft class that will probably be the last in the NFL to not have a rookie cap, has great showings at the combine and personal workouts, gets drafted over Suh at first overall.

I'm one of the rare few who thinks he is a solid player. I was not sold on Stafford when he came out, but he looks to be making the right kind of strides. Remains to be seen if he pulls an Alex Smith and stays stagnant or if he keeps improving year after year.

In no way was Bradford worthy of being the first overall pick, but for a team in need of a QB, I definitely saw the value there in the second half of the first round. I've been right with some picks and I've been wrong plenty of times, so we shall see.
