Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will be given the freedom to audible at the line of scrimmage this year. Coaches believe he has such a command of the offense that the Lions will give him the freedom to audible at the line of scrimmage. The adjustments will be from run-to-pass and pass-to-run, but he'll be allowed to do it in more situations. The coaching staff had faith in Stafford's ability to move in and out of plays last year, but they were hesitant because of the lack of practice time.
