| Browns Looking To Add A Veteran Wide Receiver To The Roster? | | | Head coach Eric Mangini is enthused about the receivers currently on the roster, but he says the Browns might add a veteran to the mix, presumably before training camp. "We may at some point add somebody else," Mangini said. "We haven't ruled that out at all. But I'm excited about the guys we have coming back. Seeing the young guys in the second year, you'd like to think they're going to jump. Typically guys do from their first to their second year. There's a much higher comfort level. They've all been in the offseason program. They're getting together on their own throwing and catching." Laveranues Coles, a 10-year veteran who played with the Bengals last year (and under Mangini with the Jets) and Kevin Curtis, a seven-year veteran who was with the Eagles the last three seasons, are possibilities.
