Quarterback Jason Campbell said he does not know whether he will be with the Redskins or another team after the NFL Draft but he will be ready to work regardless. "I'm just waiting to see what happens and find out where I'll be at," Campbell said Thursday evening in a phone interview. "Whether it's here or somewhere else, it would be nice to know something soon so I know what I need to do." Although the Redskins have said they would not release Campbell, some in the league believe the team might not receive a pick for him. "But no one really knows what's going to happen right now," Campbell said. "There's just a whole lot of stuff flying around, that's why I'm just not paying attention to it. You just don't know." If Campbell remains with the Redskins after the draft, he will resume working out at the complex and participate in every voluntary activity, including the three-day minicamp that begins in May. "I'm a professional about everything," Campbell said. "I'm going to give a 110 percent no matter where I am. Sometimes you're put in a tough situation, but you've got to just focus, think about your teammates and continue your professional career. That's what I'll do."
Redskins have a nice corp of veterans as well as a lot of veterans they can trade to gain more picks to infuse some more youth into the team...Campbell should be elsewhere by drafts end...
