Tony Scheffler will sign his tender today, a transaction formality that transfers the Broncos' tight end from restricted free agency to the trading block. Scheffler will sign his $1.176 Million tender today with the understanding the Broncos need to control his rights before they can trade him. The Broncos hope to get a third-round pick in return for Scheffler, whose 13.7 yards per catch tops all tight ends since he came into the league in 2006.
