| Titans To Discuss Contract With Kevin Mawae After The NFL Draft | | | It's still a wait and see situation for free agent center Kevin Mawae. The veteran told Titans Radio WGFX-FM he remained optimistic that a deal would get done to return to the Titans for 2010, but the team's preparation for the NFL Draft has put talks on hold for the time being. ''I'm out there, and my agent is taking out feelers and receiving calls,'' Mawae told Titans Radio WGFX-FM. ''But right now because of where everybody is at with the draft next week, nobody is really doing anything. A lot of teams, like the Titans, have OTA's so a lot of teams are just going to wait and see what they've got and that kind of thing. I'm happy to wait. We'll figure something out. I'm not in a panic or anything like that.'' Several teams, including Denver, expressed interest in Mawae at the start of free agency, but the veteran has made it clear he wants his family to continue living in Nashville and hopes to play in a city with close proximity to Nashville.
