Titans RB Chris Johnson Ready To Make A Stand On His Salary?

The degree to which Chris Johnson is underpaid is a matter up for discussion, and it appears that he and the Titans may soon find out just how far apart their opinions are with Johnson boycotting offseason workouts and Titans coach Jeff Fisher shrugging at the possibility that the 2009 AP offensive player of the year's absence will become protracted, we're hearing that Johnson could be preparing to make a stand. As the 24th pick in the 2008 draft, Johnson signed a slotted deal worth $12 million over five years and he already thinks he should be the highest-paid offensive player in the league but he'll earn a base salary of only $550,000 in 2010.

Are you retarded or something? He was the best RB in the league this year and rushed for 2000 yards he is so underrated and everyone talks all about AP when he wasn't nearly as good as CJ not to mention the fact that AP has huge fumbling issues and has a passing game that helps him with a really great O-line while Chris Johnson carried the team on his shoulders.

And he should get paid he is not a cocky asshole he simply wants to get paid for what he is worth specially since the life of a RB is so short so "Pay him what he deserves"

Actually, Peterson has a pretty shitty line, he was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage more than any back in 2009.

Have you ever watched the guy in an interview? He absolutely is a cocky douchebag, and I wasn't trying to compare him to other RBs. I mentioned QBs, because they are the face an the leader of a team, their position has more of an impact than a RB does, that's why they get the franchise deals. There is no justification to pay him 20M or whatever a season, the top 5 QBs all should be paid higher than him. If he isn't getting paid what his time is worth, go get a new job. Hope Arby's doesn't mind if you leave your grill in, CJ.

Johnson IMO just has this attitude that is all about me and once he gets his payday I don't know how hard he will actually try. And please watch the personal attacks y2k.

Chris Johnson is the cockiest son of a bitch in the entire league, can't blame him though, he did embarass defenses last year, having said that he does deserve a raise, but the most highly paid player in the league...I don't think so, I also don't think that if he gets paid that his play will decline.

Explain to me how his cockiness or his attitude off the field should affect how he gets paid for his performance on the field?. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve that money. All he has done is produce on the field, sure i don't think that he should get paid as a top defensive player but he sure should get paid as a top 5 RB in the league specially since RBs are so expandable for their short life-spam.

And that Arby's comment about Chris Johnson could not be more racist and wrong from your side. Stop hating someone that has great talent and makes you wish you had it
