Now almost four weeks into the free agency period, no team has stepped forward with a big offer for Broncos WR Brandon Marshall, a restricted free agent. He did visit with the Seahawks, but no contract offer or trade offer has materialized. Last summer, the Broncos offered Marshall a contract, worth $9.5 million per year, according to the Denver Post, but he passed because he wanted out of town and the impasse continues after the Broncos placed a first-round tender on Marshall, meaning any team that signs him would have to surrender their first-round pick on April 22 which is too steep a price for even an elite wide receiver.
