Ex-NFL DT Warren Sapp Won't Face Battery Charges

Prosecutors won't pursue criminal charges against former football star Warren Sapp, who was arrested in Florida a day before the Super Bowl. The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office on Wednesday declined to prosecute Sapp, who would have faced one count of misdemeanor domestic battery but documents from the prosecution say there were inconsistencies in the victim's statements and evidence. Sapp was working as an analyst for NFL Network at the time of the arrest. "In light of charges not being filed against Warren, we will sit down with him and review his status," NFL Network spokesman Dennis Johnson said in a release Wednesday.

I'm in no way a fan of Sapp, but these women that come forward with these false accusations need to be punished in some way. This is getting out of control.
