At the NFL Owners Meetings on Wednesday, Eagles coach Andy Reid said the team is getting trade inquiries regarding cornerback Sheldon Brown. "The nice thing with Sheldon is he's still under contract and been able to make a living," Reid said. "We'll just take it from there. We'll see what happens over time. We've gotten a few, yeah." Brown signed a six-year contract extension back in 2004 and is signed through 2012. Brown originally came to the Eagles to renegotiate his deal in 2008 but the Eagles only renegotiate with players who have two years or less to go on their deals.

If Brown can reneg this year according to policy, then I dont see the same issues as last year

This wouldn't surprise me too much. He's good but has had some injury issues that effected his utility and has been vocally unhappy with his contract. Only reason I don't see it happening is we don't exactly have alot of depth in the defensive backfield right now.
