Vikings V.P. Rick Speilman Impressed With Tim Tebow's Change In Mechanics

Vikings vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman watched former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow at his Pro Day recently. Tebow has spent several weeks working on changing his throwing motion so that it's not as long and will be more suited for the pro game. Spielman was impressed with what he saw out of Tebow and his new throwing mechanics. "He did a good workout and put on a performance in front of a lot of people and it was a totally different throwing motion than what you saw down at the Senior Bowl. He's done a good job working at it for the six weeks time he has had."

So he's saying he's good compared to the old Tim Tebow.

That's like saying that cake tastes better then shit.

It could be the crappiest cake in the world, but it would still be better than shit.

It might not be that bad of an idea for the Vikings to take Tebow with their first or second round pick if they have the chance. Right now, the Vikings have a 40 year old QB under contract for another year and knows he's coming back in 2010, he just won't admit it until training camp is over. Than behind Favre, you have crap behind him.

Sagevaris Jacksonfels isn't crap. He's a decent starter.

But when they are separate, as Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson, yeah, they suck.

Decent starters yeah but not franchise QBs. Hell, Tebow might not be a franchise QB. Only time will tell. Tebow is one of the players who i'm honestly looking foward to seeing where he goes in the draft.

I honestly don't really care anymore. I've reached that stage where I just want him and his publicity to fuck off.

I'm more interested in where project players like CB A.J. Jefferson, QB John Skelton and LB Dekota Watson go.

True about Tebow's publicity, lol. Hell, Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, & Jimmy Clausen haven't gotten as much publicity as Tebow.
