The Redskins' search for a new quarterback took the team brass to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend, where head coach Mike Shanahan got a chance to see Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow in-person. Tebow had his Pro Day last week, but Shanahan didn't attend, so this was the first chance since the Senior Bowl in January for the Redskins' coach to view Tebow throwing up-close. Word is that Shanahan wants to draft a young quarterback and "raise him," and we hear former Oklahoma star Sam Bradford is the guy he likes most but Bradford might not be available when the Redskins, who currently hold the fourth overall pick, select, so it makes sense to keep their options open.
I know. He won't really be a waiter. I'm sure some stupid team like the Bills will waste a 2nd rounder on him. Either way, I think he'd make a better waiter than NFL qb. But I could be wrong. Some people just can't handle waiting tables.
Only thing that would make me happier is them orgasming the #4 on Bradford
