Free Agent OT Barry Sims Likely To Choose Between The Redskins, 49ers

The Washington Post reports that veteran offensive tackle Barry Sims will decide between the Redskins and 49ers soon after making a visit to Washington. The Redskins have been focusing on the offensive line in their tempered approach to free agency and Sims could add some depth to a unit that sorely lacked it last season. Sims played for the 49ers last season, appearing in all 16 games and making seven starts, but the Redskins have line coach Chris Foerster, who came from San Francisco so there is a level of familiarity for him.
