Ex-NFL QB Quinn Gray To Coach At Jackson High

Jackson High hired former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Quinn Gray. The 30-year-old Gray spent six seasons in the NFL, including the first five (2003-07) with the Jaguars. “It’s truly a privilege and an honor to be part of such a great tradition here at Jackson,” Gray said. “Jackson reminds me of my old high school [Dillard] with its great tradition. The student-athletes here measure up and being able to coach at a school with such a great tradition is a great opportunity for me.” Gray spent last season playing for Hartford in the United Football League after his NFL run ended after a year with Kansas City. “When I retired from football, I automatically wanted to get into coaching,” Gray said. “I had volunteered at several different camps, and when I saw the job posted online, I submitted my resume.”

Shame, I think he could've been decent if someone took the time to play him, but there just weren't a lot of teams willing to give him the chance. He plays similar to Garrard, which is what I liked about him.

Glad to see he decided to coach though
