Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh Excited After His Visit With The Lions

It's unclear whether Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will become a Lion when the No. 2 pick in April's NFL draft is announced, but the star Nebraska defensive tackle has left Detroit with positive feelings about the possibility. "From talking to him, he was very excited," Suh's agent, Roosevelt Barnes, said Friday in an interview with the Web site Mike O'Hara Sports. "He just felt really good about the whole visit." The Lions, however, have to hope Suh slips past the St. Louis Rams, who hold the top pick in the draft and most draft analysts have the Rams choosing Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford at No. 1. Suh has not given up on being the first pick, though. "Not at all," Barnes said. "St. Louis hasn't made a decision yet. St. Louis is still in play."

The Lions should draft Suh.. it would be the right decision. Matthew Stafford is (should I say) wack!
He's not going anywhere anytime soon.. so what the heck - pick up the best player on the board.

But can he take the beating subjected to him by their awful offensive line? Now that they have their franchise QB, they need to protect him. They have also put a lot into their defensive line this off-season, Corey Williams and Kyle Vanden Bosch.

suh would be a dominate addition to that line and they are very high on sammie lee hill, thats a monster rotation. that frees alot fo shit up for simms, peterson, levy, dizon and delmas to do work. not to mention cliff avril, white and KVB as the end rotation could be a great pass rush.

this lions staff has been making it rain in FA, but they are getting a good squad together

He certainly would K Train, but is it really going to matter if they have one of the best defensive lines in the league when Stafford is on the IR. If they draft Suh, the Vikes definitely need to fix up their O-line.

i believe it will be okung or suh...anyone else wont even get consideration.

i think it should be suh and then they should try to move up a few picks in front of of the colts at the bottom of the first and take charles brown

This is why it should be Suh. They still will have a good shot at Charles Brown, the best pass blocking LT in the draft

However, you never know how high OT's will go. The Texans took that one dude (who's name escapes me) nearly two rounds to high a couple years ago
