Seahawks Won't Rule Out Drafting A QB In The First Round

Seahawks General Manager John Schneider said that even though the Seahawks made a move to add depth at quarterback in acquiring Charlie Whitehurst, there's still a possibility they could select a quarterback in the first round. Seattle currently holds the No. 6 and No. 14 picks in the first round. "Where we are now, a new culture here and everything coach Carroll and his staff are preaching, we're going to be looking at everything," Schneider said.

Whitehurst would be quite an expensive insurance policy if they did that.

Translation from GM to Human:

"We don't think Jimmy Clausen will fall to us at #6, so we signed Charlie Whitehurst. If he does, however, we will snap him up in a second"

Please do!!! If the Seahawks trade up for Jimmy Clausen, this would FLiP the draft. The Redskins would probably be more than willing to trade down if Clausen is off the board, leaving the door WiDE OPEN for Al Davis to pull off a trade and pick up Ndamukong Suh.

Rams - Bradford
Lions - Okung oR Suh <--- Hope not
Bucs (Swap SEAHAWKS) - Clausen
Redskins (Swap RAIDERS) - Suh
Chiefs - Bulaga
Seahawks (Swap Bucs) - McCoy
Browns - Berry
Redskins - Trent Williams
ect...

Only one can DReam.. * sigh * haha (JK)

In that scenario, the Redskins would take Bulaga.

And Davis thinks Geno Atkins is a better player than Suh. 6'4", 297lbs, 4.75 40. He's a great player.

Rams can't be dumb enough to take Bradford.

In 2006 they passed on franchise QB Jay Cutler (traded down)

In 2007 they passed on potential shutdown corners Darrelle Revis and Leon Hall.

In 2008, franchise QB Matt Ryan

In 2009, franchise QB Mark Sanchez

They CAN be that stupid.
